Bait Allah: Biaya dan Persembahan Pembangunan

Pengantar: Segala kemulian bagi Allah di tempat yang maha tinggi.

Kali ini mari membahas beberapa tradisi orang2 Ibrani pada masa Perjanjian Lama untuk membangun Bait Allah. Kutipan di bawah menyuratkan biaya yang diperlukan untuk mendirikan Bait Allah. Biaya ini diperoleh dari persembahan tahunan anggota Bait Allah yang terdaftar (berumur 20 tahun ke atas) sebagai anggaran pembangunan Bait Allah.

Biaya yang dipakai untuk mendirikan Bait Allah.
"Segala emas yang dipakai untuk segala pekerjaan mendirikan tempat kudus itu, yakni emas dari persembahan unjukan, ada dua puluh sembilan talenta dan tujuh ratus tiga puluh syikal, ditimbang menurut syikal kudus." (Keluaran 38:24).
"All the gold that was occupied for the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundreds and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary." (Exodus 38: 24) King James Version.

Luar biasa mahal biaya utk pembangunan Bait Allah:
- Emas: 29 talenta dan 730 syikal
- Perak: 100 talenta dan 1775 syikal
- Tembaga: 70 talenta dan 2400 syikal

Untuk nilai konversi:
1 talenta = 34 kg
1 syikal = 11,5 gram (NIV Study Bible)
Shekel (sheqel, Akkadian: šiqlu or siqlu, Hebrew: שקל‎, pl. shekels, sheqels, sheqalim, Hebrew: שקלים‎), is any of several ancient units of weight or of currency. The first usage is from Mesopotamia around 3000 BC. Initially, it may have referred to a weight of barley. This shekel was about 180 grains(11 grams or .35 troy ounces). (Wikipedia)

Pada masa Perjanjian Lama, setiap orang yang terdaftar (berumur 20 tahun ke atas) memiliki kewajiban memberi persembahan pada Tuhan sebesar "setengah-syikal" tiap tahunnya untuk pembangunan Bait Allah.

"This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel = twenty gerahs) an half shekel shall be the offering of the Lord." (Exodus 30: 13)
"Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the Lord." (Exodus 30:14)
"The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the Lord, to make an atonement for your souls." (Exodus 30:15)

Jadi:
- Emas: 986 kg dan 8395 gram = 994,395 kg
- Perak: 3400 kg dan 20412,5 gram = 3420,4125 kg
- Tembaga: 2380 kg dan 27600 gram = 2407,6 kg

Bila dikonversikan ke harga saat ini:
- Emas: Rp. 453.560.000.000 atau hampir 550 M (dgn asumsi 1 gram emas 460.000 rupiah, 17 April 2013)
- Perak: Rp. 29.073.506.000 atau hampir 30 M (dgn asumsi 1 gram perak 8500 rupiah)
- Tembaga: Rp. 240.760.000 (dgn asumsi 1 gram tembaga 100 rupiah)

Begitulah kurang lebih "nilai harga saat ini" untuk membangun Kemah Suci saat itu yg luasnya 25 x 50 meter persegi (1250 m2). Nilai yg sangat mahal!

Yang dapat kita pelajari dari semua ini?
Sikap hati jemaat Israel yg dgn rela memberikan harta mereka utk Allah, bahkan sampai berlebih.
Hati yang mencintai Allah bisa dilihat dari pemberian seseorang. Bukan soal jumlahnya, tapi nilainya. Ingat kisah persembahan janda miskin.

Mengingat hati manusia begitu melekat pada harta dan uang, maka kita bisa melihat kecintaan seseorang kepada Allah dalam sikapnya terhadap persepuluhan, persembahan, donasi, dll.

"Hendaklah masing-masing memberikan menurut kerelaan hatinya, jangan dengan sedih hati atau karena paksaan, sebab Allah mengasihi orang yang memberi dengan sukacita."
(2 Korintus 9:7).

Memberi untuk pekerjaan Tuhan adalah ekspresi kesadaran bahwa seluruh milik kita sebenarnya adalah milik Allah, dan bisa kita peroleh hanya karena izin Allah.

"High Economic Growth"- What its meaning to you

Basic question, economic growth..
Well, actually, this name of blog is also connected with economic growth theme. In one perspective, equation of interaction of two-substance law, if distance is limited/near to zero, the force of interaction is equal/near to infinity.

OK, then, as you know, Indonesia nowadays is known as country with high average economic growth in SouthEast Asia. The question, "Do you know what the 'destination' of economic growth is?"

Well, at last, everybody can afford their needs in every cheapest way. So ini this way, many step and characteristic could be the answer of the growth.
1. Commodity is always in fair price. One commodity has coefficient-equivalent with another commidity.
2. Transportation just like the nerve of our body. Airport, harbour, and terminal shall be operated 247.
3. Everything is gonna be automatic system. ie. security system.
4. Every physical things (and even quality) shall be measureable, tangible. Example, health degree, beautifulness, and somebody's degree of hardwork.
5. Money (ie. tools of transaction) will be more variative, secure, and easy to mobile....
6. Well, just like lyric of "We are young" by FUN, The world is set on fire, brighter than the sun. Every single evening/night, the area of many countries will be brighter day by day because of the lamps, and they are just like the sun from view of satelite.
